4. Finding your Port

Once you connect your device, a COM Port is generated. It is necessary to locate the port so we can specify the port in Aura Software.

If connected via Bluetooth #

To identify which COM Port is using your new paired device, select the AURAv2 icon, and then click on “More Bluetooth Options” button.

A new window should open, and in the COM Ports Tab, look for the one with the description “RNI-SPP”. For example, in this image, our COM will be COM4, but it may be different from the port number on your computer.

If connected via USB cable #

Press the Windows Key, and start typing “Device Manager” to search and open the Device Manager window.

The COM port will be listed under the “Ports (COM & LPT)” option.
